Escapes & Retreats
This weekend will comprise scaling, contouring, exploring or meandering the rugged mountainous terrain of our beautiful local terrain. A guided adventure with your Mountain Leader (ML) / knowledgeable walking guide Dave Girling. He can chat with you about topography, geology, mountaineering & navigation or gentle chat whatever your need, we will tailor our time together to your requirements.
Locations may include:
Schiehallion
Hills of the Ben Lawers range including the Tarmachan ridge
Lower peaks around Perth and Kinross akin to the topography of Ben Vrackie
If weather is very much against us, we shall take in a guided forest adventure and focus on technical skill development.
Locations are chosen in relation to the weather forecast and full group abilities.
You Provide:
Walking footwear, waterproof top and bottoms, Day bag, Spare warm layers and drinks.
Dave Girling has worked in the outdoors for 25 years. His career culminating in the privilege of writing and programme leading a BA in Outdoor Education at University of Highlands and Islands. Dave has a client-centred approach to his work, and we are extremely lucky to have someone with so much experience leading our adventurous activity retreats. To enhance his skills, Dave is currently training as an Eco-therapist

Tina strongly believes that just a few minutes yoga a day can bring more balance and harmony to your life. Tina’s classes will ground you, challenge you to focus on the moment and connect your mind, body and breath. As a Physical Education Teacher in Secondary Schools for twenty three years Tina strongly believes in creating inclusive and welcoming classes for all. There is a strong sense of support and kindness that runs through all Tina’s retreats, workshops and classes.
